Recently, a friend of mine asked if I would be willing and able to design an F3A aerobatic model for him. He was a competitor, looking to have something a little different, yet still competitive. Referencing other models to glean the best from each, I developed the Magnum Opus as you see here. As you can see from the plans, the wings and tail surfaces are cut from foam, while the fuselage is of ply and balsa. Simple, and effective, the design is both conventional and new. We trust you will enjoy it.
